The Pacific Tola Rivieria is an 18-kilometer stretch of coastline between the towns of Tola and El Astillero. Here, more than $400 million in investments has been planned by at least eight major developers.
The Tola Rivieria is famous for its stunning landscapes, arguably the best in Central America. All around are sparkling white sand beaches, rocky outcrops pointing far into the sea, islands, dramatic bluffs and secluded bays. It’s no wonder that this area is attracting a great deal of investor interest.

Rights, lefts, point breaks, beach breaks, reef breaks, un-crowded waves ... it's hard not to be evangelical about Nicaragua and surfing. Across the world, surfing is becoming more upscale and shaking off its "beach-bum" image. It's the same here in Nicaragua - now you can surf and discover networking opportunities at the same time.
Two of the most famous surf breaks in the country - Colorado and Popoyo - are located on the Tola Riviera. And last year, Popoyo was labeled in the top five best surfing beaches on the planet by CNN.
